In the depths of dream we rise,
taken by the Dream muse to worlds unseen
unknown, unreal.
Vivid as lines crisscrossing palms.
“See,” she says, “And I will catch you if you fall.”
So that every night you may rise higher.
And every dream might be a tad brighter.
Until the Dream muse leaves to help another.
And you find yourself holding a sister or a brother as
you whisper to them, “See, and I will catch you if you fall.”
Dream on Star Child, dream on.
